Summary/Abstract: The Savior Jesus Christ accomplished all the teachings He has taught us in His earthly life. Regarding prayer, He has not only giving us just examples or patterns for true prayer but He, Himself has prayed many times. In this research, I have highlighted some evangelical text which illustrate our Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Incarnated Logos, as the absolute model of the prayer. Through these, He tried to awaken in us a thirst for personal dialogue with the heavenly Father, so that we could fully fulfill the words of the Holy Apostole Paul: I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all people (...) This is good, and pleases God our Savior (I Timothy 2,1,3).
