Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to outline the attitude of the Polish society to the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict initiated by Russia’s aggression on February 24, 2022. The main research problem is an attempt to answer the question of Poles’ perception of the events unfolding on the ground. The background of consideration is Poland’s relations with Ukraine and Russia and the events of 2014. The work is based on non-reactive research. The analysis conducted showed the strong impact of the war on the sense of security of Poles. “Antidote” to fears is the presence in NATO and the possession of modern armed forces.
