Summary/Abstract: Pronominal verbs are verbs accompanied by the reflexive pronoun se or by the personal pronouns mă, te, ne, vă in the Accusative case. They are two-member structures: the morpheme se combines with a derivative base. Pronominal verbs form a heterogeneous class, with differing behavior. They are classified into: absolute verbs (a se duce, a se mira); relative verbs (a deştepta / a se deştepta; a îngălbeni / a se îngălbeni); and free verbs (a se cunoaşte, a se convinge).
