Summary/Abstract: In the beginning, God created the world, which can be compared to a house and in the middle of this house He placed man. In this house, man enjoyed happiness and was endowed with the fullness of life. Death was a stranger to him. However, this atmosphere of happiness and harmony was disturbed. To use ecological language: it was contaminated, poisoned. Man's disobedience to God's command - caused by the devil's manipulation and lies - has radically changed the fate of humanity. The history of mankind shows that the quality of the human spirit and mind directly affects the quality of nature and its relation to others. Today, thanks to progress and development of modern technology, man is also beginning to inhabit the media. Children and especially young people, as the "net generation" most open to new media, have already been largely captured by digital technologies. The ecological state of this media space is alarming. The poisoned media narrative pours out of the inextinguishable screens, monitors, billboards, newspaper columns, as well as from books. The contamination of the communication sphere, poisoning the human mind, demands the healing of the media space. There is a close analogy between caring for a common home (environment) and communication. Both of these realities are based on relations, communion and interconnectedness. Following Pope Francis, “There can be no renewal of our relationship with nature without a renewal of humanity itself. There can be no ecology without an adequate anthropology”. Moreover, the worldwide media coverage five years after the publication of the papal encyclical on ecology notoriously omits its basic themes. Above all, the sacred dimension of human life. The article culminates with the diagnosis that in the media and natural space, the basis for restoring any shattered harmony between man and the created world is the Trinity. “From faith in God who is Trinity, it follows that in order to be myself I need others. I am truly human, truly personal, only if I relate to others”. The present time in the world invites us to invest in relationships, to affirm within and throughout the network, the interpersonal character of our humanity.
