Summary/Abstract: It is predicted that the multi-grade classroom practice, which is more common in villages and rural areas due to the low number of teachers, students and classrooms, will continue to exist in the near future. For this reason, the aim of our research was to reveal the classroom management competencies of teachers working in multigrade classes and to determine how this competency differs according to some variables. The classroom management competency scale was used in the research conducted on 30 multigrade teachers working in all multigrade schools in a district located in the southeast of our country in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data obtained from the measurement tool was analyzed using the SPSS program by scanning method. As a result of the research, it was determined that teachers' classroom management competencies were high and did not differ significantly according to gender. In addition, in our research, which concluded that in-service trainings differ significantly with maintaining physical order and time management, but do not differ significantly with teaching management, classroom relations and behavioral development, teachers assigned to schools with multi-grade classroom practice are required to undergo inservice training on multi-grade classroom management before starting their duties. It is recommended.
