Summary/Abstract: The global economy is currently characterized by rapid flow and exchange of information, capital and cultural communication. These flows structure and determine both consumption and production. Networks themselves reflect and create different cultures. Both they and the traffic through them are basically not subject to national regulation. Human dependence on new forms of information movement gives enormous power to those who are able to control it in order to control us. The main political scene in the modern world is the media, and the media is not politically responsible.
