Summary/Abstract: One of the most identifiable features of baroque poetics is the concept. It can be understood as a set of tricks or as a stylistic and creative idea that defines the way authors think. Due to its use of paradox, the concept has attracted the interest of contemporary literature created under the auspices of postmodernism. This article attempts to show some solutions of Polish contemporary and recent literature that refers to the tradition of the concept. The operation of the concept takes place both on the external literary level (polymedia genres) and on the internal literary level (narrative figures derived from baroque poetics).
