Summary/Abstract: +This article analyzes what is called “Man’s epoch language” in the texts of culture (film), both literally and metaphorically. It examines the representation of this language in films such as The Garden of Earthly Delights (2003) by Lech Majewski (born 1953). The article considers the idea of synergy between man and his environment, not only in the natural environment but in the cultural environment, which contains artistic – primarily visual – products of the “Anthropocene epoch.” This examination will allow us to better understand the attitude of the director towards the transformation of the 21st century in the work The Valley of the Gods (2019). While it does not include a detailed analysis of all film elements, the article attempts to show how the code of the “human condition” is encrypted and preserved in cultural texts, specifically the films of the Polish director, Lech Majewski. Methodology: cultural anthropology, elements of film analysis and interpretation.
