Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to present the author’s course aimed at supporting the student’s personal development and the formation of competences desirable for the labour market of the future. The first part discusses the challenges posed to education in a reality changing dynamically under the influence of many complex phenomena (political, social, cultural, economic) and the key transversal skills enabling participation in a world whose constant feature is rapid change. The second part discusses in detail a course proposal that attempts to treat the educational space as a social space in which the individual is stimulated to take action.
