Summary/Abstract: The novel "A Woman for the Apocalypse" sees the light of day for the first time in France, in Paris, in 1968. It is translated into Romanian much later, only in 2007. The opera proposes a different type of writing from everything that Vintilă Horia had published until then. Thus, in the case of this novel we speak of a hybridization of the epic structure, with an intrigue set in an uncertain time, lacking in homogeneity, with a narrative built from direct stories, dreamlike passages, reminiscences and sometimes anticipations. The novel offers a journey through literature and history, being thus, in turn, a novel of the fifth dimension, a novel of Platonic love, a history of the stones of Montparnasse, as well as a mystical novel. "A Woman for the Apocalypse" proposes to the reader an exit from the historical, cyclical, measurable time, an exit that brings with it a spiritual ascension, a search and an identification of the primordial Self, the only one that can make possible the passage in the afterlife.
