Summary/Abstract: An important contribution in the elaboration of my doctoral thesis, still in preparation, had the niece of Ioana Postelnicu, Crina Demetra Doroftei, the daughter of Milena and Gheorghe Doroftei. Remained in Bacău after the death of her parents her niece keeps the brightest memory of what "Mamina" was. She talks about her with a lot of nostalgia. For her, "Mamina" was not the writer Ioana Postelnicu (Eugenia Banu) but her beloved grandmother. At the same time, Ioana Postelnicu was that special being who painted her nieces in real stories from real events. I am referring here to the 1982 book, "What stories are Milena and Crina telling us?” in which both her cousin, Milena and Crina herself are the protagonists. She remembers the writer as being protective, gentle, wise and always a reliable support. When she grew up, she realized that Mamina harbored joy and drama in her being. She realized that the trance that encompassed her came from these feelings. Hence her ease of writing, her desire to put on paper, to give voice to those deep feelings.
