Summary/Abstract: Entered into force on 1 July 2021, the Regulation on the EU digital certificate on COVID, has raised many dissatisfaction among the citizens of the Member States of the European Union, especially regarding its applicability within it. It all culminated in challenging it before the General Court of the European Union, with the applicants claiming that it infringed the Charter of Fundamental Human Rights. In this article, we set out to present and analyse what are the characteristics of this type of certificate and whether it really supports the freedom of movement of citizens of the Member States of the Union within it.
