Analysis of the digital integration potential of the Mazowieckie local government institutions

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to assess the level of preparation of the communes of Mazowieckie voivodeship for performing electronic public services via Internet. Three aspects of this issue are discussed: human capital, teleinformation infrastructure of offices and electronic services. The accessibility of public services over the Internet is increasingly perceived as one of the major ways of supporting the development of Information Society by territorial self-government. E-administration can become a new mode of area management and a significant factor of the growth and competitiveness of economies in the local aspect.
