Justification of the importance of school head teachers’ leadership

Summary/Abstract: This article puts emphasis on the role of school head teachers’ leadership in managing school. The attention was also paid to the dynamics of teams and the stages of their performance. The need for teachers to support the activity of head teachers through cooperation, building relations and promoting the deepest values, was also highlighted. Critical factors in deciding not to resign from work at school were also indicated, as well as the motivational components in achieving satisfaction with the profession.
