Summary/Abstract: Over the last few years some significant shifts have taken place in Eurasia’s geopolitical landscape, with Turkey and Russia moving away from the Cold War era animosity, toward what seems to be closer cooperation. However, this should not be interpreted as a cooperation emerging as a result of both countries’ frustrations with their relations with the EU or US.
