Summary/Abstract: Author presents student’s notes and opinions concerning the programme of teaching historical and linguistic subjects. Anonymons anciets which were conducted between the students of 1st and 2nd year of Polish filology at the Uniwersity in Chełm and 3rd year of Polish filology at the UMCS in Lublin. Almoust the all students (141 persons from a pad of 156) indicate a need for existance the historical linguistics in the programme of university. They also underline a high level of difficulty of these issues. Only few students want bring the diachronics in in the role of extraoccupation. Students also suggest implementation the subject which could teach the elements of basic knowledge.
