Summary/Abstract: Collaborative relationships are an important dimension of quality development in a kindergarten because quality educational practice is always a collective, and not an individual achievement. Collaborative relationships imply high-quality teamwork of employees in a kindergarten. Each member of a team contributes to a common goal and is responsible for achieving it. The formation of a team and its development requires mutual trust among the members, but also open and honest communication. Within the kindergarten, team members are primarily teachers and other professional staff, but this composition can be expanded or changed depending on the needs and goals of the team. It is important that team members constantly learn, develop and work towards creating a common vision. The success of the work of a teacher and other professional associates also depends on his values, beliefs and points of view, but what especially determines his success is cooperation with colleagues and other members of the educational process. Teamwork and cooperation significantly influence the identity and culture of the preschool institution and are an essential condition for the coconstruction of the curriculum. The paper presents two studies. The first was carried out in nine kindergarten of the Zenica-Doboj Canton with the aim of investigating and analyzing the respondents' opinions on the most significant determinants of cooperative relations with the assumption of their influence on improving the quality of work of kindergarten. In this paper, we focused only on the results related to the effect of teamwork on the quality of the kindergarten. The second research was conducted in twelve preschool institutions of Sarajevo Canton. Questionnaires and attitude scales were used with the aim of examining and analyzing the factors that influence the quality and success of the team (personal and professional competence of the team members), detecting difficulties when forming a team and performing tasks within the team, and finally, analyzing the ideas and suggestions of respondents for improving quality teamwork in a kindergarten.
