Summary/Abstract: The article presents the need for the development of the value of public health care centre as a new area of work in health care which is a consequence of systemic changes of Polish economy and the direction Polish health care system is heading. The burden of modelling of this value, watching the correctness of decisions making lies with the founding body of public health care centres. It was also showed that financial market institutions which support financially and strengthen good management practices are of great significance for the correctness of the actions of this sector.
