Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyze the three stages of existence in the philosophy of S. Kierkegaard. First, we reflect on the method of Kierkegaard's philosophy. In the aesthetic stage, one experiences existential moods of boredom, despair, anxiety, fear, and is scattered in the flesh. At the ethical stage, responsibility in marriage is mainly applied in a person's life. The prototype of religious existence is Abraham, experiencing fear and trembling before God.
