Summary/Abstract: In this paper we analyze the relationship between authenticity and non-authenticity to the meaning of human life. Methodologically, we use the phenomenological description of life. An non-authenticity life in mass culture under the rule of consumerism, individualism leads to a loss of the meaning of life. On the contrary, authentic conscience-driven life is a condition for discovering and realizing the holistic meaning of life.
