Summary/Abstract: The requisition of goods and provision of services in the public interest represents an exceptional situation in which the public authorities empowered by law compel economic operators, public institutions, and other legal and natural persons to temporarily transfer some movable or immovable goods legally detained to the state. The purpose of the procedure is represented by preventing, locating, removing the consequences of disasters, solving material problems of any kind, the provision of labor and housing or accommodation necessary for defense forces, public authorities, victims, refugees, the population affected by the consequences of war and prisoners of war, the operation of economic operators and public institutions, the operation and exploitation of telecommunications systems and communication paths.
