Summary/Abstract: At COMECON level, agricultural issues grew in importance in step with the interest in new forms of economic cooperation. The article presents the stands of the COMECON countries versus the USSR-proposed agricultural policies, insisting on the context that determined Romania to reject the proposals for agricultural specialization in 1956-1965.
