Summary/Abstract: In the article, the authors describe the life of an important pathologist, his contributionto the introduction of the criminologically practical method of reconstruction. In addition to pathology, he became famous for introducing reconstruction in the courtroom. The article describes the important cases of Bernard Spilsbury and the introduction of a special case for examining a corpse. The authors also present some critical views on the work of this pathologist. In the conclusion, they analyze Bernard Spilsbury's significant contribution to the development of pathology and criminological methods in practice.
