Summary/Abstract: Fin order to identify guidelines for solving problems and improvements in the quality management of products and processes within the B&H industry it is necessary to review critically the theoretical models and methods in the process of monitoring and quality management. Therefore, the paper presents the research, comparison and critical analysis of methods and models in the process of monitoring and quality management within manufacturing enterprises in B&H. Guidelines for solving problems and improving the state result as a summary of critical reviews. If B&H's economy and enterprises doing business there want to achieve competitive advantage on the basis of quality, which will ensure their active participation in economic transactions at the European and world level, it is necessary to invest in: 􀁸 Fundamental assumptions that must be made in order ti develop and implement an effective model of integrated quality management; 􀁸 Improvement of processes in industry and enterprises that affect the quality of final output; 􀁸 Management of processes, results and requirements of the model for the improvement of quality; 􀁸 Iidentification of the key value in a company through which the organizational culture should be shared by all employees.
