The emphasis is placed on comparative quantitative analysis by the program, by the majors and way to study I cycle studies. Because no similar research in the University of Sarajevo School of Economics and Business has been done so far, the objective of this research is conducting a comparative analysis of the results achieved by students at the I cycle of studies and the scores on the entrance exam for the II cycle of studies. The research also answers many questions: whether there is statistically significant difference between the results of students of Department Economics and students of Department Management; is there a statistically significant difference between the results of students enrolled in Academic studies and students enrolled in the Business school. The research also tries to answer whether there is a statistically significant difference between the results of full time students and students enrolled in DL studies, whether there is a statistically significant the difference between the results from different subjects on the entrance exam, whether there is a statistically significant difference between the results of male and female, whether there is a strong correlation between the average grade achieved in the I cycle of studying and the total number of points on the entrance exam for the II cycle of studying? In addition to descriptive statistics, the paper used numerous statistical tests and parameters, and gives tabular and graphical presentation of the results of research with specific interpretations.
