Summary/Abstract: Research is a systematic, controlled, empirical and critical investigation of topics of interest. We define research activity as the effort to acquire new knowledge and to find answers to various questions. The scientific and ethical requirements in consulting documentary sources refer to the scientific and moral conduct that a researcher must have and apply in his/her research endeavor. Whether we are talking about a simple project, a scientific article, an undergraduate thesis, a dissertation or a doctoral thesis, research must be carried out thoroughly. This activity requires time, skill and rigorous organization. The principle of novelty should be at the forefront, which is why literature review on the subject in question is essential. Research is also about intellectual satisfaction, understanding issues, mechanisms and connections, and has the benefit of improving people's lives and enhancing culture.
