Summary/Abstract: This article presents the issues underpinning the decision on pricing – the two critical elements: Knowledge of cost (benefit relationship for each product line ; Knowledge of the status of the main market forces operating in your market The first part examines the main ways in which a company can improve its financial result and how these methods break down into different strategic requirements. The second part of the paper explores the major market forces that limit our ability to set prices. The article ends with a brief study of the curve of technological adaptation and how those in highly innovative markets, to be used lower prices to enter this kind of new market.
