The First Graphic Portrayal of Laurencius Comes de Longo Campo’s Tombstone

Summary/Abstract: The author edits a drawing plate showing a graphic portrayal of Laurencius Comes de Longo Campo’s tombstone from the St. James the Great Church in Câmpulung Muscel. The draw was found in the Bucharest City History Museum storage, belonging to Dimitrie C. Butculescu’s archive. This is the first preserved image of the famous tombstone, made by Butculescu himself during the archaeological exploration at Câmpulung, in the autumn of 1876 year.
