Summary/Abstract: This paper will primarily through historical, comparative, normative and deductive methods, explain the concept of the international financial crisis, although in subsequent chapters, it will emphasize the reform and resolution of this crisis and prevention of new crises on both regional and global levels. This paper analyzes the cause of the subprime mortgage crisis, as well as of the international banking and financial crises that followed. On this basis, proposals are considered which will remedy identified vulnerabilities in the financial system. In this analysis the main focus is directed towards the fundamental principles on which reform can be implemented in future risk management, internal management of banks and banking supervision all with the goal of avoiding financial crises in future. Analysis of this problem further focuses on long-term economic and regulatory measures that are proposed as responses to the international financial crisis both politically and applicably. This data will be presented through four main chapters: “Problem Analysis”, “The Emergence And Development Of The International Financial Crisis”, “Proposal For Resolving The Crisis And Proposals For Reform” and of course in the Conclusion.
