Encyclical Laudato si’ and entrepreneurship

Summary/Abstract: The concept of entrepreneurship was presented as well as the meaning of this idea in Encyclical Laudato si’. The desired features of the entrepreneur was described. Then the importance of the economic activity for employees and the society were taken into considerations. The risks connected with economic activities and indications to avoid them given by Francis in the encyclical were quoted and briefly discussed. Some similarities between Pope Francis approach and European Union ESG (environmental, social, governance) new legislation were mentioned.
