Summary/Abstract: The article presents the volume From Refuge to Deportări. Testimonies of Refugees from Bessarabia and Bucovina, published in 2021 by the Publishing House of the Academia Civică Foundation. Reference is made to the 22 interviews included in the work, which reconstruct the route of 22 families from Bessarabia and Bucovina, refugees after the ultimatums of June 1940, then, four years later, before the invasion of the Red Army in northern Bucovina and Bessarabia.
