GRAPHIC ARTISTS AND WORKS IN THE YEARS OF AZERBAIJAN INDEPENDENCE

Summary/Abstract: During the independence period, important steps were taken in the development of graphic art, as in every field of Azerbaijan's fine arts. In this period, various types of graphics were developed successfully, technical means of expression were expanded, the intellectual-artistic level of the works was increased and the scope of the subject was enriched. Artists working in the field of graphics have made serious searches in the field of themes, styles and diversity of expression tools and have worked to raise the artistic level of their works. During the independence period, effective steps were taken towards the development of industry graphics in Azerbaijan and some successful results were obtained. Artists working in this field include Rasim Babayev, Rafig Mehdiyev, Cemil Mufidzade, Arif Huseynov, Adil Rustamov, Arif Alasgarov, Sanan Gurbanov, Rasim Nazirov, Vagif Agayev, Beyim Hajiyeva, Mirteymur Mammadov, Ismail Mammadov, Ramiz Talibatov, Eşref Gemmatovları. achievements are remarkable. In the examples of the interesting easel graphics they created, figurative thinking style, philosophical generalization, appeal to national values and the inner world of the personality were highlighted, and the originality and solution of the descriptive language were brought to the fore.
