Summary/Abstract: The article outlines the place and role of intermedia in contemporary visual arts in Bulgaria. This aesthetic concept and practice is regarded as a corrective to the various processes in the postmodern era, and as a unifier of eclectic creative manifestations. The paper also presents the latest examples proving the research thesis in the context of its historical manifestations.
