Summary/Abstract: As a result of the military operations in Ukraine initiated by the Russian side, on February 24, 2022, an influx of refugees, unknown in our country, began. There was a sudden need to adapt the education system to the needs of a new, extensive category of refugees from Ukraine. To implement the aim of the article discusses here ad hoc legal solutions for the education organization for children and pupils. Numerous special provisions meet the needs of refugees. They have created, for example, new locations, welcome classes, and provision of material aid for pupils. The analysis of new legal solutions clearly shows the need for their improvement and further work on them. It is also necessary to coordinate the activities of Polish and Ukrainian educational authorities.
