Summary/Abstract: George Banu and Roman Dolzhanskiy’s essay focused on the relationship between heritage and modern era. Therefore, the two authors are analyzing the relationship between what they call ‘an imaginary museum of theatre’ and the way theatre now works according to the latest directions of contemporary performing arts. In such a context, the two authors are reviewing the works of one of the most important European theatre directos ‒ Eimuntas Nekrošius.
