CONTRIBUTIONS REGARDING THE CONTENTS OF SOME ROMANIAN PERIODICALS IN COLLECTIONS FROM ALBA IULIA: THE ORĂŞTIE CALENDARS (1912-1928)

Summary/Abstract: The study talks about same aspects revealed by the 11 items kept in our book reserves. The context shows that the issues described resemble those of the other publications printed in other typographical centers in the period 1912-1928. The most common aspects are the cultural, the historic-documentary, the scientifical, literary, folklorical, economical, geographical ones. The typography from Orăştie (Hunedoara county) has gained a special place in the history of the Romanian calendaristics, especially by printing this kind of publications, extremely asked for during those times.
