Summary/Abstract: The notion of conflict prevention and crisis management have found their way into the developmentpolicy debate. Peace requires the involvement of the entire society in the process. A broad consensusexists today acknowledging that peace-building is a challenge which requires a coherent approachinvolving various fields of policy-making.
