Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the main parameters for applying the competency-based approach in the implementation of the key competence “learning skills” in the training of technology and entrepreneurship at the initial stage in accordance with the theory of constructivism. The active learning issue is interpreted in relation to the derivation of specific intellectual activities of a teacher and students in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and creating attitudes for lifelong learning. Emphasis is placed on the need of contribution of each school subject to building a new culture of learning, based on activity, ability for team interaction and creativity on the part of students.
