Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the theoretical aspects of the relationship between crises (such as health, economic or social crises) and religion, highlighting theoretical models of religion as a form of coping. The case study regarding the impact of the global pandemic of COVID-19 on religious life aims at pointing out the general perceptions of how religious beliefs and behaviours were influenced, as well as how faith communities have adapted to the coronavirus crisis.
