Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the current state of discussions on corporate social responsibility (CSR). The aim is to show that the dispute concerning CSR models leads to promoting new proposals of a CSR model, as exemplified by the creating shared values (CSV) model created by Mark R. Kramer and Michael E. Porter, and the conception of the Company-Idea proposed by Jerzy Hausner and Mateusz Zmyślony. The author’s intention is to present argumentation supporting the thesis that there is an urgent necessity to reformulate the traditional models of CSR. The author is convinced that we can find promising inspirations in both new conceptions of CSR.
