Summary/Abstract: Through the commented decision, the Cluj Court of Appeal established that the decisions of the disciplinary courts of the legal profession have the character of an administrative act, reason for which they become enforceable at the end of the procedure before these bodies, and their suspension can be ordered only through the procedures establish by the articles 14, and 15 of Law no. 554/2004, as their simple appeal before the administrative contentious court is not sufficient. It was also established that, as a body with powers to enforce the disciplinary decision, the bar council will communicate to the lawyer the moment when the disciplinary sanction is enforced.
