Summary/Abstract: This article presents the opportunities for improving the work of civil servants by increasing their motivation and new training. The problems and challenges in motivating competent employees in the public sector are considered, in order to increase the efficiency of the state administration, with limited budgetary resources for additional remuneration. As a lasting trend in recent years in our country there is a lack of funds for the so-called. "Bonuses" in the state administration, which makes it difficult to achieve better results in the public sector. Some of the forms and methods of training and retraining of civil servants have changed significantly in the conditions of social distance caused by the Covid-19 epidemic in the last two years.
