Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will present with the research of the period 1919-1921, when Nicolae Ivan was president of the Consistory in charge with the revival of the old diocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj and we will take a look at three important points: reorganizing the diocese and restoring the religious identity of to the Transylvanian Romanians, which also led to the awareness of the national identity and of the importance of the cooperation between the religious and the political element for the welfare of the people.
