Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the functioning of music in a situation of pandemic isolation. It contains examples of technologically mediated sound activity, both on the part of creators and recipients. The authors’ field of interest includes, among others: homerecording, amateur music videos, home covers and all other online performances, one-man band formula, pandemic playlists, internet actions and lockdown versions as a new musical phenomenon. The text presents many observations related to the functioning of musical culture, avoiding critical and value judgments about music.
