Summary/Abstract: In the Russian commercial terminology (either having one, more or all the elements borrowed or being English loan translations) there have been major changes that lead to numerous and important evolutions and transformations in the semantics, morphology and the structure of the lexical and phrasal units. When analyzing the phrasal examples in the economic-commercial field of the Russian language, one can notice 7 main models of structures for phrases having one element borrowed from English (while there are some which are hybrid), which are used occasionally and are not listed in dictionaries, glossaries or tables. The terms borrowed or translated from English, undergo a clear modification of structure in Russian (quantitative expansion), rarely accompanied by a meaning expansion, as they can occur in free phrasal combinations.
