Summary/Abstract: ”Cuvioasa Paraschiva” wooden church in Desești is one of the representative monuments of 18th century from Maramureș county. The preservation – restoration of the church required a perfect coordination between members of the interdisciplinary team, involved in the three distinct realization stages: research and design phase, conservation stage and the restoration phase. The restorer team worked effectively a period of about two years, the site being closed in the year 1998, year when was realized the final reception of the works.
