Summary/Abstract: The architectural research into the Kazanowski Palace, one of the largest residences in Warsaw in the first half of the 17th century is summed up. Thanks to it, it was possible to recreate the genuine 17th-century form of the buildings. The reconstruction of the layout also allowed to associate definite rooms with rhymed fragments of the building's description contained by Adam Jarzêbski in his Go ciniec [Guide to Warsaw] from 1643, thanks to which the décor and furnishing of all the Palace rooms could be recreated. The reconstructed form of the Palace also allowed to reflect on the structure's designer.
