Summary/Abstract: The paper is trying to emphasize the librarian occupation, considering it not just a job, but a calling. The librarian is the first person somebody sees when entering the library; thus, he is first responsable, through his attitude and dedication, for the image he creates for the library. The librarian is also responsable for the better organization of the library space and collections. He must read for the others, learn for the others and be prepared to answer all the questions that readers might have.
