The aim of the paper is to examine this area with emphasis placed on the aspect of technological interference and its impact on academic procrastination from a theoretical-empirical point of view. The theoretical part presents a reflection of the researched topic, the empirical part presents the results of research focused on the attitudes and experiences of university students with online procrastination and the use of social media. 530 respondents took part in the research, qualitative and quantitative research methods were used (phenomenological, hermeneutic, questionnaire survey).
