Summary/Abstract: The article examines the student-centered positive pedagogical approach in the class time lessons. It reviews the term’s definition and its connection to humane pedagogy, positive psychology and pedagogy. A constructed model for teaching and learning is described and four main components are viewed: dynamic and shared model for selection and structuring of the learning content; positive approach to education and classroom management; competence-oriented training; balanced approach to student-centered learning. Methodological guidelines for the realization of the student-centered positive pedagogical approach in the classroom are also indicated.
